Maintenance Manager

We are recruiting for Mantenance Manager based in ARRUBAL PLANT in La Rioja.

 

In the role of Mantenance  Manager, the candidate will be responsible for directing and organizing Plant Maintenance. All this based on dispatch requirements, complying with applicable laws and established procedures, prioritizing the safety of people and equipment, in order to achieve maximum performance and availability of the same and of provide the client with a high standard of quality in their work, planning strategic maintenance activities for this, responding to any problem in a timely manner and in real time and, in short, managing the tasks so that they are carried out in safe environments, adequate environmental and quality standards according to existing standards, also assuming the tasks designated in the PEI (member of the advisory committee or alternate Emergency Chief) in case of emergency.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct communication with Plant Manager both in daily meetings and through reports 
  • Maintenance coordination
  • Review and/or approval of the Maintenance Procedures and Instructions
  •  Participate in the process of hiring staff in charge
  • Supervision and management of daily reports, monthly reports, start up and shutdown reports, incident reports, etc.
  • Establish and ensure compliance with the Work Permit System (BFS)
  • Attend the Safety and MA rounds carried out by the Plant
  • Member of the Management Committee and HSE in the investigation and monitoring of incidents/accidents and regular investigator of work accidents
  • Act in case of emergency as a member of the Advisory Committee, or replace members of the emergency team, as defined in the PET
  • Organize and coordinate the necessary technical and security training to improve the professional skills of the team
  • Communicate the importance of the Management System Requirements
  • Promote continuous improvement
  • Maintenance of the quality, safety and MA system based on the corresponding ISO standards


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, in CHP or CSP power plants environment.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering / science-based discipline.
  • Be an experienced manager of people in both direct and indirect situations with excellent delegation and team leading skills
  • Fluent Spanish & English.
  • Demonstrable experience of influencing & motivating personnel on Safety matters
  • Communicate confidently in written, verbal, and presentational situations as well as having excellent analytical skills
  • Leadership ability and strong management skills
  • Technical excellence
     

This position reports hierarchically to Arrubal Plant Manager
