Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Reports to: Local Procurement Manager
POSITION SCOPE
Contour Global is actively seeking a proactive and innovative professional to fill the role of Procurement Specialist within our organization. He / She is responsible for the timely and accurate procurement of goods or services within a specific scope. This role involves PR creation, PO creation, Supplier identification, Cross regional purchase aggregation, managing supplier negotiations, onboarding, contracting, and maintaining overall supplier relationships
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Procurement of Goods or Services:
- Manage the procurement process for goods or services within a pre-defined scope, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and compliance with the Company’s policies.
- Identification of New Suppliers and Opportunities:
- Identify and evaluate potential new suppliers to expand the Company's supplier database.
- Explore new opportunities for cost savings, innovation, and improved quality.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and emerging suppliers through the company's tools and systems.
- Supplier and Contract Management:
- Conduct supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms.
- Manage supplier onboarding and ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
- Handle contracting processes, ensuring all agreements are thoroughly reviewed and executed.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, addressing any issues that may arise.

Actively collaborates with other departments to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with the Company's overall strategy. Adopts and implements internal rules and procedures strictly and in good faith
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the procurement of a diverse range of goods and services. Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools is considered an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Fluent English and local language are required.
- Mindset for global and local reports.
Compensation range: Starting $37.00 per hour, and can increase based on skill set.
