JOB SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking an Operator responsible for field supervision of plant conditions, taking readings, adopting element isolation measures. Response to emergency situations. Carry out minor repair work.

The position is based in Cosoleacaque, Veracruz.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the dependence and supervision of the Operations Manager, the position is responsible for supervising the operation of the Plant in the corresponding shift, both in the Control Room and on the field mainly, performing readings and routine checks of equipment, carrying out safety measures. isolation and standardization of equipment, carrying out minor repair work, if necessary (adjustments in valves and pumps, etc.), with the aim of achieving maximum performance and availability of the Plant, also responding to emergency situations. All of this prioritizes the safety of people and equipment through strict compliance with established Plant standards and procedures and environmental protection.

Among his most important tasks are:

• Act in the event of an emergency being declared as Head of Intervention or Head of Communications and Internal Operations (according to the decision of the Shift Chief), or assume substitute positions for other emergency team appointments, as defined in the PEI.
• Unloading of dangerous goods from tanker trucks (Sulfuric Acid, Caustic Soda, Ferric Trichloride, Sodium Hypochlorite, diesel, etc.) and others necessary for the operation of the plant (propane, hydrochloric acid, etc.).
• Carrying out electrical and mechanical isolation of the equipment and systems to which they are authorized, to leave them in safe conditions before intervening on them.
• Collaborate with the Shift Manager in developing procedures, Technical Operation Instructions, incident notifications...
• Make Missing Notifications (BFS System) based on the anomalies detected in your daily rounds.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:

• At least 3 years’ experience in relevant positions
• MS Office Package
• Safety as priority mindset
• Training in Operations of loading and unloading of dangerous goods.

This position reports hierarchically to the Operations Manager.
