Job Summary:
As Purchase Intern, you will join our Procurement Team! In this role, you will report to our Procurement and fuel logistics . Join us to drive the right power forward and make clean energy the natural choice for all!
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
Main responsibilities:
The responsibilities and tasks of the purchasing manager consist of:
- Ensuring purchasing and procurement operations;
- Processing all approved requests, preparing purchase orders and sending them to the relevant departments and service providers;
- Complying with CG's purchasing and procurement policy (background checks, supplier checks, etc.).
- Optimizing purchasing and procurement processes;
- Regularly monitoring new tools and service providers;
- Organizing calls for tenders in order to select service providers and suppliers likely to meet the specifications/order defined;
- Negotiate with suppliers and define contract terms (prices, delivery times, etc.);
- Ensure communication, daily monitoring, and compliance with deadlines by suppliers and service providers;
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations;
- Ensure compliance with environmental standards.
- Set up a supply plan with selected suppliers
- Ensure that the warehouse manager or his assistant receives orders;
- Establish key indicators and dashboards to measure the
- performance of actions taken: inventory turnover rate, delivery times, availability rate, etc.
- Report on purchasing and procurement operations;
- Perform any other tasks requested by your line manager.
- Work in close coordination with procurement officer. And follow up Fuel, Diesel oil & Lubricant storage levels with him on daily basis.
- Initiate purchase order on time to SAR, SDE, SENSTOCK and fuel transporter (DHF) and to TOTAL in case lubricants purchase.
- Assist in the organization, track and management fuel/lubricant supplies, i.e. follow up with fuel / lubricant suppliers & transporters in order to have required product on site on time as per requirement of plant operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Your profile is a natural match if you have:
- Have a two-year degree in accounting or transport logistics (DUT, BTS, Master's, DSC, or equivalent)
- Have at least three years of professional experience in a similar position, preferably in a multinational company
- Be fluent in French and English
- Knowledge of SAP, proficiency in Microsoft OfficeTravel requirements:
