JOB SUMMARY
The Manager Financing will be a key player in the execution of ContourGlobal’s Financing Activities. The individual will leverage past experience acquired in investment banking or in the power industry to enhance Project Finance or Corporate Finance capabilities. The individual will have strong functional skills in major areas of project finance or corporate finance and will demonstrate the ability to lead financing transactions with supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creating financial analyses (project finance modeling, valuation analyses, corporate finance solutions, etc.)
Evaluating existing financing and their structures
Supporting and leading (with supervision) the financial structuring and the negotiation of Tax Equity (and Tax Credit Transfer) deals in the utility sector
Supporting and leading (with supervision) the financial structuring and the negotiation of Project Finance recourse / non-recourse Debt deals in the utility sector
Preparing and supporting the refinancing of ongoing projects
Tracking business developments (collects research, analyzes industry trends)
Working with different teams (coordinates with Financing and other department’s team members, delivers multidisciplinary projects on a deadline).

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:
Master’s degree in Business Administration or Finance
8+ years of experience in Project Finance or Corporate Finance acquired in Investment Banking or in the Financing Department of a Power Company
Strong prior financial modeling experience
A mix of solid quantitative and qualitative skills
Experience in the energy / power sector is a must
Experience in US Tax Equity transactions is a must
Due Diligence (Technical, Environmental, and Legal) experience
Tax Equity and Debt Financing Term Sheet negotiation experience
Tax Equity and Debt Financing Documents support-to-negotiation experience
Fluent in both English and Spanish

Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future
Travel Requirements – This position will require occasional business trips.
