IT Manager Spain

We are looking for an IT Manager to join our team in Madrid! In this strategic role, you will be the key IT partner for the business in Spain, leading local IT operations across our offices and production sites and ensuring technology truly enables people and performance. You will drive high-quality end-user services, coordinate local vendors, manage the full device lifecycle, and contribute to both global and local IT initiatives. Working closely with our Global IT teams and regularly visiting sites across Spain, you will have a real opportunity to make an impact by connecting local needs with a global IT vision.

Key responsibilities: 

• Serve as the main local IT point of contact in Spain, acting as the L2 escalation for end-user issues in close collaboration with the Global Service Desk, and ensuring effective incident, request, and change management in line with ITIL processes.
• Deliver advanced end-user and workplace support, covering hardware and software troubleshooting, Windows OS, Microsoft 365 services, network connectivity, and the full onboarding/offboarding process, including laptop imaging (e.g. SCCM) and mobile device enrollment via MDM.
• Manage the complete end-user device and asset lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, refresh, replacement, decommissioning, and hardware asset management, ensuring accurate inventory and compliance with global standards.
• Coordinate local IT vendors, on-site ICT needs, and plant visits, ensuring high-quality support across Spanish offices and production sites and alignment with global IT policies and standards.
• Lead and support local and global IT initiatives, including planning and executing local IT projects, acting as the interface with Global IT teams, maintaining technical documentation, and managing the local IT budget with clear communication of progress, risks, and issues.

Your profile: 

• Strong end-user IT troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, operating systems, printers, and workplace environments.
• Solid expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online) and Azure.
• Hands-on experience with endpoint, mobile, and workplace management tools (e.g. SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, MDM) supporting Windows, iOS, and Android devices.
• Experience with IT asset lifecycle management, procurement, budgeting, and deployment of global IT standards; exposure to industrial/plant environments and basic OT concepts is a plus.
• Strong customer focus with excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills in a corporate environment.
• High level of autonomy, ownership, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced, multinational / matrix organization, remaining calm under pressure.
• Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders (HR, Finance, Operations) and manage third-party vendors.
• Fluent in Spanish and English
