The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of projects (depending on technology and/or location and/or size and/or complexity), the support of development as required and then receiving and signing off the assumption book of the project (handover from BD to Construction and implementation), and construction the projects. This may include maximizing efficiency in the implementation of detailed project plans, keeping track of goals, tasks, resources, schedules, costs, and contingencies. He/She must be able to effectively manage multiple competing demands on their time and attention while also working with external stakeholders. The accountability over the project will be completed with the handover to Operations (without any pending on HSE topic and any relevant limitation to normal operation).
The Project Manager will report to the Head of Engineering and Construction
Key Responsibilities:
The execution of the project in accordance with the assumption book with the HSEQ standards and in time and cost. Management of the construction (back office and site), Cost Management, Time Management, Quality Management, Contract Administration, Safety Management, work in coordination with the project team, PMO and support functions; defining the responsibilities and management structure of the project site team, organizing and leading by implementing project controls, defining roles and responsibilities and developing communication protocols, and identifying elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related science and 12 years of experience including operational and management experience in engineering and construction of power assets.
- Construction experience in renewable power generation assets is plus.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, technical excellence and management skills and strong planning and budgeting skills.
- Fluent English read/writing is mandatory, Spanish for position in Chile is also mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and motivational skills. Must be able to address issues with general contractors, sub- contractor and Owner Engineer in an effective manner to secure cooperation for the successful outcome of the project.
- Knowledgeable of project management and scheduling IT tools.
- Must be able to travel within different sites globaly on a regular basis and may be required to spend significant time on site if necessary.
Location and traveling:
The Project manager will be in Spain/Madrid.
Traveling locally or internationally is part of this function.
