JOB SUMMARY:
Carry out maintenance and repair work on the plant's mechanical equipment in accordance with procedures. Ensure that tasks are carried out in a quality-assured and timely manner and technically correctly. Assist the mechanical maintenance manager in mechanical maintenance and in troubleshooting and diagnosing faults.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance (preventive/predictive) and repair (corrective) work on the Plant's mechanical equipment, following established procedures and/or advice received, ensuring that tasks are executed in a timely manner, with quality and a technically correct method in order to achieve maximum performance and availability of the Plant, assisting the Mechanical Manager in problem solving. Also acting in accordance with the role designated in the PEI (Support Team Member) in the event of an emergency being declared. All of this prioritising the safety of people, the protection of the environment and the equipment through strict compliance with the established Plant standards and procedures.
Among their most important tasks are:
-Act in case of emergency as a member of the intervention team and/or support team, or assume the substitutions of other emergency team appointments, as defined in the PEI.
-Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance work on mechanical equipment, in accordance with the maintenance plan.
-Solve problems and repair mechanical equipment in the plant that is faulty or not working correctly.
-Supervise mechanical tasks contracted to external companies.
-Participate in maintenance work groups to solve breakdowns.
-Prepare repair and/or technical reports of various kinds and collaborate in the analysis and investigation of incidents.
-Collaborate in the preparation of maintenance procedures and instructions and completion of the associated records of their competence, planning of stops, maintenance plans, proposing, if possible, improvements to them.
-Use the Plant Management Computer System (MAXIMO) to create work orders, request material, closing reports, etc., also performing tasks specific to the person in charge when his or her replacement is appointed.
-Ensure the correct and effective implementation of the integrated management system for safety, health, the environment and serious accidents for the site of the assigned group, based on the responsibilities indicated in the application procedures.
-Act in case of emergency as a member of the support team, or assume the substitutions of other emergency team appointments, as defined in the Internal Emergency Plan (Self-protection Plan).
-Ensure the correct and effective implementation of the integrated management system for safety, health, the environment and serious accidents for the site of the assigned group, based on the responsibilities indicated in the application procedures.
