JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be the highest figure in the Plant operation during the corresponding shift, supervising the operation of the Plant continuously from the Control Room most of the time (both during shutdowns and start-ups and normal Plant operation), ensuring that alarms are responded to with the appropriate actions, ensuring that the Plant meets its generation requirements while operating in a safe and efficient manner with the aim of achieving its maximum performance and availability (with Operators for this purpose), also actively responding to the emergency situations generated. All of this prioritizing the safety of people and equipment through strict compliance with the established Plant standards and procedures and the protection of the environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
- Acting as Leader of Intervention (during normal hours) and Emergency Director (outside normal hours), in the event of an emergency, or assuming the substitutions of other emergency team appointments, as defined in the Internal Emergency Plan.
- Supervision and control in the unloading of dangerous goods.
- Preparation of procedures, technical operating instructions, notifications and investigation of incidents.
- Responsible for authorizing and closing work permits in accordance with the procedure “PT-OM-01. Work permits”.
- Responsible for the discharge/normalization process in accordance with the procedure “PT-OM-02. Isolations and blockages (LOTO)”.
- Responsible for the preparation of operational and statistical reports. (Daily reports, Incident reports, 5Whys…).
- Planning, management and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance assigned to operations.
- Communication and coordination with the Electrical Control Center in everything related to the operation of the plant.
- Impartation of the induction course, in the absence of the PRL Department and continuous training of new operators in the operation of the Plant.
-Ensure the correct and effective implementation of the integrated management system for safety, health, environment and serious accidents for the assigned group site, based on the responsibilities indicated in the application procedures.
