Global Internal and Change Communications Lead

GLOBAL INTERNAL AND CHANGE COMMUNICATIONS LEAD

• ContourGlobal is seeking an innovative and dynamic Internal and Change Communications Lead to join our Global Communications Team.
• This role is crucial in fostering a strong internal culture, enhancing employee engagement, supporting change management and ensuring clear, consistent messaging across all internal channels.
• The ideal candidate is a collaborative and strategic professional with a passion for creating impactful internal communication programs for a global industrial organization and strengthening alignment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications plan aligned with ContourGlobal’s mission, values, and strategic priorities.
• Partner with HR and other internal functions to lead initiatives that foster employee involvement, satisfaction, and connection, driving a culture of inclusivity and collaboration.
• Create and curate engaging content for internal platforms, including newsletters, intranet articles, presentations, and video messages.
• Partner with senior leaders to craft impactful messages and deliverables that inspire and inform employees at all levels.
• Oversee internal communication channels, ensuring they are effective, user-friendly, and reflective of the organization’s brand
• Plan and manage internal events, including town halls, and other employee initiatives in collaboration with the functions/ regions involved and with the relevant HR departments
• Develop tools to measure effectiveness of communications tactics and campaigns, using data to continuously improve communication efforts. Measure, track KPIs, report on progress and ensure data-driven continuous improvement.
• Support timely and transparent messaging during organizational changes or unexpected events.
• Work closely with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Management or a related field; advanced degree preferred especially if connected to organizational development.
• Native English speaker or highly proficient, with business-level proficiency in Spanish and Italian required. Knowledge of Portuguese or other relevant languages is a plus.
• A minimum of 8 years in internal communications, employee engagement, or related roles within global, multicultural organizations. Experience in the energy or infrastructure sector is a plus.

Proficiency in content management systems, internal collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams), and analytics tools to measure engagement and impact.

• Strong project management skills, with experience in budget management and stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
• Ability to thrive in a global, multicultural environment, with experience working across geographies.
• Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and driving change in digital communications.
