JOB SUMMARY:
The Energy Administration & Control Analyst is responsible to support for the management of commercial energy control and administration activities in Mexico.
The position is based in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administration of the Plant’s Transmission Agreements.
- Preparation of Shipping Cost Studies for the Plants.
- Preparation of requests for Transmission Agreements for the Plants.
- Monitoring the communication of the meters of the Plant’s partners.
- Monitoring of electrical adaptations of the Plant’s partners.
- Follow-up with clients to start supplying electricity from the Plants.
- Support in the preparation of annual budgets for variable margin calculation.
- Support in the preparation of monthly estimates for variable margin calculation and comparison against budget.
- Review and clarification of billing doubts from the Plant’s clients.
- Support in the purchasing process of electric energy meters for the needs of the Plant’s members.
- Customer service.
- Billing clients.
- Development and implementation of commercial agreements/negotiations in the system.
- Ensure compliance with commercial agreements/negotiations.
- Daily purchase of gas necessary for the operation of cogeneration plants.
- Monitoring and execution of energy Take or Pay.
- Negotiation of commercial contracts related to the operation of cogeneration plants.
- Management and control of natural gas contracts (Capacity, transportation, purchase and sale of gas).
- Management and control of steam contracts concluded between cogeneration plants and buyers.
- Tracking and monitoring of production variables (electricity generation, steam production, gas and water consumption).
- Monthly settlement of electricity and steam from the Plants and billing to buyers.
- Nomination and control of daily and monthly gas from the Plants.
- Management of payment to suppliers, purchase, assignment, and shipment of meters from the Plants buyers and monitoring of meter installation with CFE and buyers, as well as monitoring of updates and improvements to the settlement and billing system
- Constant communication with CFE related to: Compliance with the Plant’s interconnection contract and electrical inventory with CFE tracking, as well as the Plant’s Servers installed in CFE, support and maintenance.
- Review and clarification of billing doubts from the Plant’s buyers.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:
- Engineering degree or Business Administration
- At least 3 years of experience in a relevant position in the energy sector.
- Experience managing customers.
- Excellent negotiations skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

This position reports hierarchically to the Energy Administration & Control Manager.
