JOB SUMMARY:
This position is Responsible for assisting the procurement function to execute spend, manage vendors, and deliver miscellaneous projects as assigned by the Procurement Manager. Interacts with internal customers within the US, Mexico, and the Caribbean to facilitate & complete requests.
The position is based in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Advises internal customers of the appropriate company process.
- Manages onboarding of suppliers into the Company management system(s)
- Follows up on orders to ensure that shipments are delivered on promised dates.
- Maintains records and files for units in the field.
- Provides support to Procurement Team as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the normal knowledge, skill, and/or ability levels required.
- Familiarity with P2P/S2P programs and processes or willingness to learn. Coupa, Ariba, SAP is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to vendor management and purchase orders
- Excellent communications and customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient and comfortable with personal computer navigation and operation
- Proficient with Excel and Word documents

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline or equivalent business/work experience.
- 3+ years’ experience working within, or in cooperation with a procurement function.
This position reports hierarchically to the Procurement Director.
