Job Summary:
As Operator, you will join our Operation team! In this role, you will report to the Operation Manager and will have the opportunity to operate the plant from both the control room and the field according to ContourGlobal's quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
- Identify and report potential anomalies that may arise in production operations, taking the necessary measures to correct deviations according to instructions received.
- Conduct field and SCADA patrols.
- Assist the Shift Manager in designing releases and executes releases approved by the shift manager in the field.
- Prepare and review the department's technical instructions.
- Supervise and control the unloading of hazardous goods.
- Inform your superior in the event of uncontrolled deviations so they can respond accordingly.
- If necessary, support the immediate response team in resolving any incidents that may be detected during their shift, to maximize energy generation and reduce downtime, within the limits established by the plant's operating procedures.
- Prepare incident and improvement reports.
- Participate in 5 Whys.
- Collaborate in the correct and effective implementation of the integrated safety, health, environment, and major accident management system for the assigned group's location, based on the responsibilities outlined in the applicable procedures.
- Act in the event of an emergency as a member of the response team, or act as substitutes for other emergency team members, as defined in the Internal Emergency Plan.
- Promote continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
Your profile is a natural match if you have:
- Education: Engineering or Industrial Technical Engineering or higher vocational training with demonstrated experience.
- Experience: at least 3 years in a similar position.
- Skills: Office, outlook, Scada, Control systems, Intelex, Maximo, Sharepoint, Teams.
- Travel requirements: This role does not require travel.
