Energy Regulation Leader

 

[Palmira, Valle del Cauca]

Job Summary:

As Energy Regulation Leader, you will join our Commercial team! In this role, you will report to General Manager and will have the opportunity to lead the processes associated with energy regulation and transactions for the thermal and solar plants and lead the management of fuel procurement for the thermal plant. Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

-          Review, risk analysis, and formulation of commercial and regulatory strategies for energy and fuels: gas and diesel (CREG, SSPD, XM, etc.).

-          Energy: Review of settlements and invoicing, claims management, contract registration, warranty management, daily bids, reliability charge auctions, secondary market energy purchases and sales. Management of XM and SUI applications.

-          Fuels: Procurement of gas and diesel for plant operations. Management of “Gas Manager” and SICOM applications. Supplier Management.

-          Participation and representation of TermoemCali in meetings.

-          Reporting information to authorities (XM, CVC, SUI, Palmira City Hall, etc.).

-          Preparation of reports, statistics, and reports related to the area for management.

-          Attend business-related audits.

-          Coordination of the presentation of daily, monthly, and annual commercial reports.

-          Monthly provisions

-          Monitoring of the Commercial area's budget execution

-          Any other matters applicable to the area.

-          Implement the policies defined by the Company.

-          Execute the programs proposed by the Company.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

Your profile is a natural match if you have:

-          Education: Professional in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or related careers

-          Experience: Minimum two (2) years of experience in similar positions

-          Skills:

o   Knowledge of electrical, gas, and diesel regulations.

o   Experience with XM transactions and applications.

o   Advanced Excel skills.

o   Minimum Intermediate English.

o   Theoretical or practical knowledge of safety, health, environment, and quality programs.

-          Travel requirements: This role requires frequent travel.

-          Vacation Leave: 15 business days per year of service, in accordance with applicable labor law.
