Job Summary

As Mechanical Technician II, you will join our Maintenance team! In this role, you will report to Head of Maintenance and will have the opportunity to contribute to the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the plant by performing preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, as well as routine equipment repairs.
• Assist in the regular inspection of equipment to identify and correct potential mechanical issues.
• Support the execution of equipment testing and adjustments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Perform preparatory work activities such as filing, sanding, cutting, and welding.
• Assist in the cleaning and lubrication of mechanical equipment.
• Operate maintenance tools and equipment, including drills, hammers, grinders, lifting and rigging equipment, and oxy-fuel welding equipment.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge in the field.
• Maintain assigned plant work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.

Qualifications and Skills: 

Your profile is a natural match if you have:

• Three (3) years of total work experience, of which at least one (1) year must be in similar positions.
• Mechanical or Industrial Technologist.
• Industrial machinery and tool handling.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is desirable.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of safety, health, environmental, and quality programs.
• Orientation toward Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality
