Job Summary
As a Senior Accountant Analyst, you will join our Finance Team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the company’s financial reporting. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will lead complex accounting activities, oversee month-end close processes, support statutory and IFRS reporting, and act as a trusted business partner to internal stakeholders.
The main objective of this role is to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial information, strengthen internal controls, support business growth, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines.
- Review and approve complex accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, tax regulations, and internal accounting policies.
- Own the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations and proactively resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Act as the primary finance focal point for statutory audits, internal audits, and regulatory reviews.
- Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and management reporting packages.
- Partner with Treasury, Tax, Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions.
- Monitor and strengthen the internal control environment, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff and new team members.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, automation projects, and system enhancements to increase efficiency and reporting quality.
- Review vendor payments, cash transactions, and banking activities to ensure proper controls and compliance.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes by providing accurate accounting insights.
- Participate in accounting assessments for new projects, acquisitions, and business initiatives.
- Collaborate with corporate finance teams to ensure alignment with Group reporting requirements.
- Perform special projects and ad hoc analyses as requested by Finance leadership.
Qualifications and Skills:
Your profile is a natural match if you have:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within multinational companies, energy, infrastructure, industrial, or shared service environments.
- Skills:
- Strong expertise in IFRS and local GAAP reporting requirements.
- Advanced SAP knowledge and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Solid experience working with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
- Language: English communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Experience leveraging digital tools, automation, and AI solutions to improve finance processes.
