Purchase Controller

The Purchase Controller will collaborate with people across the group with the aim of providing reasonable assurance over the achievement of operational, reporting and compliance objectives.

The Purchase Controller will serve as a bridge between Sourcing (Master data), Purchasing and Accounts Payable teams and their KPIs. The person will also accommodate the Role of Travel and Entertainment process business owner.





This position will support the work of the Accounts Payable Process Owner and will assist the Procurement, Accounts Payable and GL teams with the following:


Purchase Controller Responsibilities:


  • Build and maintain strong collaboration with all functions in the group in order to comply with internal procedures
  • Coordinate PO process at group level and perform training for new joiners, refresh training for existing users and the creation/update/maintenance of internal documentation
  • Support the AP Process owner in the definition, creation and management of performance indicators regarding the P2P process
  • Perform monthly testing on POs to ensure compliance with CG P2P policies
  • Perform monthly PO maintenance
  • Coordinate and implement the revamping of the P2P Internal Controls
  • Maintain close collaboration with the Procurement solution (Coupa) process owners to ensure the consistency of the end-to-end Source to Pay process.
  • Support purchasing in their change management process


T&E process business owner:

  • Administration and coordination of the Travel agency and Expense report tools (Concur and Egencia)
  • Responsible in the definition, production and management of performance and follow up indicators regarding the T&E process
  • Define and implement reporting and performance follow-up regarding Concur (expense report system)



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or similar
  • At least 2 years of experience in Procurement or Accounts Payable role  
  • Experience in defining, creating, and generating KPIs and Dashboards is a plus
  • Experience and interest regarding SAP and S2P systems
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Coupa experience is a plus
  • Strong communicator, verbal and written
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and manage time efficiently


This position reports hierarchically to Accounts Payable Team Leader.
