JOB SUMMARY:

As OT Engineer Americas, the incumbent will support the OT Manager with responsibilities covering the  ContourGlobal Americas OT systems in scope for the region, including OT support for existing sites and integration of new sites as required; provide advanced hardware, software, network, and applications problem resolution for in scope OT systems and be an important contributor in standardizing and improving our overall global plant technology platforms, and interface with the global OT, Operations, and Core IT teams to accomplish this.

The position is based in Altamira, Tamaulipas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage installations, operational availability, and troubleshooting of ICS hardware 
• Manage network configurations, and troubleshooting 
• Manage Operating Systems and patching 
• Manage industrial control systems and their components
• Prepare and provide activity and progress reports regarding projects/support activities 
• Provide timely responses to client and management requests. Status updates on such requests need to be provided on a regular basis 
• Maintain and manage compliance with NERC CIP requirements where applicable
• Ensure technical documentation is developed and maintained up to date 
• Must keep an assets list of all equipment and systems 
• Maintain high security standards, provide regular updates on security posture and threat preparedness
• Ensure adherence to global and regional OT policies and procedures
• Manage and support operational data analytics and historian systems
• Manage in scope OT system reliability, availability and recoverability
• Active participation in Global IT/OT/Security initiatives
• Manage communication with 3rd party vendors to ensure a correct project execution
• Manage and support operational systems with energy regulators to ensure the compliance in data telemetry

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field
• At least 3 years of working experience in the OT field
• At least 3 years of experience supporting PLCs and controllers
• At least 3 years supporting industrial control systems
• Good knowledge of Microsoft servers and virtual environments
• Good knowledge of industrial communication protocols
• High sense of responsibility, good team player, good self-learning
• Cisco IOS and hardware operation
• OT and Operational Cybersecurity understanding and experience
• Techniques for explaining technical concepts and procedures to non-technical users
• Troubleshooting and solving hardware, network and software problems
• Using initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines and procedures
• Organizing own work, setting priorities and meeting critical time deadlines
• Fluent in English

This position reports hierarchically to the OT Manager Americas.
