Job Summary:
The Junior Legal Counsel is the link between Legal and the business. He/She performs a variety of tasks to ensure the company objectives are aligned with management and employees, thus contributing to the efficiency of our business.
Key Activities & Accountabilities:
- Support in all corporate governance requirements and compliance with all applicable control elements.
- Assistance in reviewing and maintenance of standard forms, databases and/or knowledge management tools for frequently used legal documents for the European Subsidiaries.
- Assisting in organizing and archiving legal documents with respect to the European Subsidiaries, including through software programs as applicable.
- Tracking legal activities/documentation arrangements status Projects in Austria via providing support in creation of notification systems for recurring deadlines, processes for notices of delay or default and follow-up thereon, instruction of local business teams as to these contracts.
- Provide assistance to Human Resources with respect to labor and employment issues.
Transactional and Financings:
- Drafting or reviewing legal and project documents and other services agreements using company samples.
- Amending or reviewing corporate and transactional documents, including joint venture/joint development, acquisition, and development-related documents in line with supervisor instructions•
- Drafting closes or reviewing financing, credit and loan agreements and all related documents in line with supervisor instructions.
- Assisting in drafting or review basic legal documents such as Non-Disclosure Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Expression of Interest applications for development projects.
- Provide support to the following functions locally as required: Compliance, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Internal Controls, Operations, Development and Health and Safety.
- Support global Compliance function activities locally ensuring the compliance with Company's internal policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience
- Academic background
- 3+ years of professional experience ideally in a legal department
- Fluent in written and spoken German (level C1) and English.

- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with development team and other legal department members.
- Flexible and open minded.
