We are seeking a Wind Developer to lead our global power generation company into the future. Our mission is to expand our wind portfolio while relying on our established foundation of continuous improvement. Our Wind Developer @ ContourGlobal will increase our renewable footprint mainly in Austria but also in other European countries by developing greenfield wind projects and repower existing ones.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Management of projects from the site search and assurance through the permitting procedures and construction to the commissioning of wind turbines
• Technical, economic, and organizational responsibility for the success of the project
• Communication with internal and external project partners and stakeholders
• Project assignments in Austria as well as other European countries
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Excellent leadership- and communication skills
• Fluency in German and English
• Self-driven, strategic personality who demonstrates initiatives beyond the developer role along with leading cross-functional teams.
• Success orientation in terms of learning from own mistakes
• Understanding values-driven work environment matters
• Being opened to changes. Utilizing technology to challenge and/or disrupt entrenched principles of organizational structure
• Possessing significant experience in driving development projects and have successfully managed geographically dispersed teams
• Analytical and critical thinking. Challenging the underlying assumptions rather than accepting the status quo.
• Great ability to access and use data
• Not only understanding the importance of targets and KPIs but the concept of garbage in/garbage out
• 7-10 Years of experience in Wind projects
• Completed technical education (University, FH)
• Legal background - through work experience or training - beneficial
• Expertise in the handling of infrastructure projects desirable
• Experience with administrative procedures in Austria beneficial
