The Procurement Manager Europe & Africa is responsible for leading a multinational procurement team and managing the procurement activities and processes for the Company's operations across an assigned region. The successful candidate will work closely with other departments to ensure that procurement policies and procedures are aligned with the Company's overall strategy and will be responsible for ensuring that all procurement activities comply with local laws and regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage procurement activities for the Company's operations including sourcing, purchasing and contract negotiation through the Company’s tool, Coupa.
- Negotiate meaningful contracts to achieve significant savings across the assigned geography.
- Systematically solicit bids and quotes from vendors and evaluate current contracts vs. new proposals.
- Ensure that all procurement activities comply with local laws and regulations, as well as the Company's internal policies and procedures.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain supplier relationships to ensure the Company is receiving high-quality goods and services at the best possible price.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the market and industry trends to identify potential cost savings and process improvements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the assigned procurement team including training and development of staff.
- Collaborate with other departments, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with the company's overall strategy across all countries.
- Assist in the development of procurement strategies that align with Company’s objectives.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management; Finance; Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in team leader’s role in procurement; finance; operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools (SAP, Coupa) will be considered as advantage.
- Proficiency in English, French is a strong plus.
This position reports hierarchically to Global Procurement Director.
